It was worth its 4 stars. Near to the downtown, 10 minutes on foot. Regards to your manager. The room was good sized, with a spacious bed and an iron, a flat-screen television and a radio.

The staff at Woodlands were exceptionally helpful from the minute we arrived. The room was very good, although a little smaller than expected.
The hotel itself was excellent. However, it's worth noting some of the rooms face onto a very busy road which might disturb some.

Friendliness of staff and their willingness to meet requests for minor comfort adjustments. Food ( breakfast only) was excellent - well-cooked and presented by communicative and helpful staff.
The hotel website led us to expect a higher quality of accommodation than the reality of the accommodation allocated to us - cramped bathroom and lack of storage particular issues.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful also the waiter, was in a good location for both windermere and bowness. Breakfasts were very good and plentiful.
Our room was ok very clean but the bathroom was a little on the small side not much room to put any toiletries and the shower wasnt brilliant, we have stayed in 4 star hotels in Manchester quite a lot for the same price and the bathrooms are much more superior,

We did spend much time at the hotel but breakfast was very nice and the room was comfortable and well designed.the young girl on reception makes the nicest chocolates.you need to get onto that and get them sold.You'll make a right few quid

I lovely Hotel, cosy rooms & fabulous breakfasts. Staff were very welcoming & helpful.
The use of the Spa at an alternative Hotel, this was in Bowness a mile away. If you wanted to dirve there the valet service at the Hotel was £15 or you could use the pay & display car park.

location is good just 15 mins from windemere station and easy to find, rooms are tidy and garden is lovely

Ideal central location, between Windermere & Bowness. The decor is modern and relaxing.
The tables in the breakfast room are too close together.

The very frendly staff and the breakfast was excelent
The price per night seemed quite costly for the room we had. We were in a four poster bedroom we expected luxury but the room looked like it could do with new decor. Other rooms on our floor looked better both in decor and furniture. Overall I would recommend this hotel. The price we paid would have suited the other rooms we managed to see but unfortunatly not ours.
